Maggie has been crafting by herself and she's come up with something very pretty: delicate, glittery, toothpick (and craft stick) stars:
The stars have to be made a day before you apply glue and glitter, that way they will dry thoroughly and not fall apart when you're decorating them.
I'm sure we will have an entire collection of glittery stars for the Christmas tree--or even for a garland to drape across a door way--before she's through.
Oh they are gorgeous, so pretty and delicate!! Can't wait to show them to my Violet :) Happy weekend!

Thanks for the comment this morning on my blog. :)
I wanted to let you know that I actually own the Discover Nature in Winter book and dusted it off today and did some reading in it. It is interesting to me that when I read it before I couldn't get "into" it but now after working with the OH Challenges, I am seeing it in a new light. I am actually going to use some of the ideas in the upcoming challenges.
Thanks for sparking my renewed interest.

I think we need to make a few of these! I'm not very patient though... I think I might try to hot glue them together and then let the kids glitter 'em!

Kathy, Thanks so much for visiting my blog via The Homeschool Library. I can see already that I could learn a lot from your inspirations.
It turns out we both live in the same state. Small world.

What a simple, but very effective idea. Thanks for sharing.
